Milpark Business School Admission Process.

We are one of the first private providers of higher management education in South Africa. Since 1997, we have evolved into an internationally recognised institution.

We currently offer 21 accredited higher education programmes through four schools, namely; The Business School, The Schools of Commerce, Financial Planning and Insurance, and Investment and Banking.

The Milpark Business School is currently home to the only internationally (AMBA) accredited MBA in Africa for online distance learning.

• Ensure that you meet the minimum requirements and have all required documentation for your selected programme, as specified in the information pack available on each course page.
• Application closing dates are also on the specific course pages.
• Ensure that you apply for admission well before the close of registration to avoid disappointment. Late applications will only be considered for the following semester.

• Students applying on a new programme must complete an admission application and receive academic acceptance onto the programme before registering for individual subjects.

Postgraduate programmes – R1500

International StudentsStudents from outside South Africa applying to study via Distance or Online Learning.

All international students need to apply via the manual admission route and submit original certified documentation.

If the entry requirements for your chosen Milpark qualification is a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC), you need to obtain an exemption certificate from Universities South Africa.   Visit http://mbit-application.usaf.ac.za/assessment/ for further information.

If the entry requirement for your chosen Milpark qualification is a prior undergraduate qualification, you need to obtain a certificate of equivalence for the foreign qualification(s) completed. Visit https://dfqeas.saqa.co.za/dfqeas/user/home for further information.

1. Students enrolling via distance learning:
   • do not need to comply with any visa or residency requirements.
   • will conclude admission and registration processes at a distance.
   • will receive study materials via courier in their country of residence.
   • will receive support via distance methods.

2. Distance learning students who want to visit South Africa to attend a single short workshop or write an examination at a local venue, have to do so based on the normal visa/visiting requirements as stipulated by the Department of International Affairs (or Home Affairs).

Note: Such a visit does not imply permission to remain in South Africa indefinitely based on registration at Milpark Education.

3. Distance learning students are not allowed to provide a South African residential or postal address. Such registrations will not be concluded as the normal visa/study permit requirements have to be complied with as for contact/residential students below.
